My research journey has taken me through various esteemed institutions: At the Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, I delved into high-resolution laser spectroscopy on the osmium anion. My interests then expanded at the University of Colorado and the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, USA, where I explored microwave quantum control of trapped ions. Now, in Freiburg, I'm developing advanced quantum control techniques, working alongside the team led by Tobias Schaetz. We focus on demonstrations of methodologies applicable in quantum metrology, simulation and computation. We are working towards ultimate control in artificial quantum systems, build-up atom by atom.
Teaching and mentoring gotten closer to my heart since I am in Freiburg. Over the years, I've organized seminars, mentored both undergraduate and graduate students in lab work, and contributed to beginners and advanced experimental physics courses. I value the exchange of ideas and knowledge, and I'm always eager to collaborate and learn from fellow researchers and students.
Please don't hesitate to connect with me.
